This is just a repository of summaries, essays, or notes about books I am reading or have read in the past. I have a wide range of interests and and tend to explore them through books. The problem is that I have a really bad memory. I have trouble remembering what I had for dinner last night much less the contents of a book I read six months ago. So, this blog will hopefully serve a few purposes:

1. Encourage me to take good notes about the books I read
2. Provide a reference that I can use to refresh my memory about books I have read
3. Improve my writing skills

Hopefully, as a bonus, it will be a useful reference for other people too. I am probably not an authority or an expert in any of the topics I explore through reading so please feel free to point out any mistakes or misinterpretations I make in covering these books. I particularly enjoy hate mail.
